Playspace Construction

Playspace Industries has constructed playspace upgrades and redevelopments at more than 50 preschools, kindergartens, child care centres, primary schools and public spaces across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

Our company has been affiliated with some of Victoria's most exciting and diverse playground projects. Our team works closely with landscape architects, specialist equipment suppliers and structural engineers to create the ultimate playspace for any commercial development. In addition, all projects are reviewed by an independent compliance auditor to ensure all works meet Australian Safety Standards.

Our demonstrated experience and capacity to work effectively with all key stakeholders has provided us with the opportunity to work with clients such as the City of Stonnington, City of Melbourne, Maroondah City Council, Murrindindi Shire, Rural City of Wangaratta, Greater City of Geelong and Glenelg Shire Council as well as many government and independent education facilities.

Inspections and Auditing

Playspace Industries are certified Playground Safety Inspectors and are qualified to carry out routine visual (Level 1), operational (level 2) and comprehensive (Level 3) annual and post installation safety inspections.

Our extensive experience in playspace construction provides us with the advantage of having a practical working knowledge and in-depth understanding of the Australian Playground Standards.

Comprehensive reports are provided outlining areas of non-compliance and potential hazards, as well as any design or environmental concerns. We can also make recommendations on how to rectify any non-compliance issues and can undertake necessary repairs and alterations if required.

Our highly qualified and experienced team have specialised in playspace construction for more than 20 years. Our high standard of workmanship and ability to meet deadlines and budgets has earned us a strong reputation within the early childhood, education and local government sectors.

Playspace Industries are Registered Building Practitioners with the Victorian Building Authority, Master Builders Association Master Tradesman and members of Landscaping Victoria and Play Australia. We are also certified playground safety inspectors (Levels 1, 2 and 3) with Playground Safety Inspectors Australia.

We are fully insured and have a comprehensive WHS Management program in place to ensure that safety is a high priority at all times.
